The Digital Theatre Database of the Hungarian Theatre Museum and Institute is the most important reference for the overview of the programme of Hungarian theatres and gives very detailed information about most of the productions performed in Hungary both in the established and the independent theatres. We also collect data on theatre makers (actors, directors, designers, dramaturges) and on the history of theatre institutions. This internal database is used as the main reference by our own researchers in the different collections and it can also be researched on our premises. A selected part of our digital data and a large amount of digital documents can be freely accessed on our website.
You can also find many artefacts from our collections on Europeana, the digital european library, aggregated through the ECLAP project (European Collected Library of Artistic Performance), an ICT-PSP EU project
