Prielle Kornélia (1826–1906) különösen a századvég divatos francia társalgási színműveiben aratott sikert. De Csiky Gergely, sokszor kifejezetten neki írt vígjátékaiban is kiválót nyújtott, mintát állítva a követőknek. A színésznőt Salamon Ferenc 1907-ben így jellemezte:
„Játéka fő érdeme az összhangzás, az egység. Nem magas, de igen csinos és szép arányú külseje, szelíd, nemes és fogékony arca, nem erős, de igen kellemes csengő hangja, kerek művészi egészet tesznek, melyen meg kell adni, a mesterkélés mit sem ront.”

Actress Kornélia Prielle (1826–1906) became famous mostly in the fashionable French conversation plays from the end of the 19th century. But she was also exceptional in the comedies written by playwright Gergely Csiky specifically for her, setting a benchmark for her successors. This is how Ferenc Salamon described the actress in 1907:
‘The main merit of her acting is harmony, unity. She is not tall, but has a very beautiful and slender figure, a meek, noble and sensitive face, a not too loud but very pleasant, chiming voice, which all add up to an artistic whole, which, one has to admit, are not maimed by any artifice.’
